After completing the booking process and if all your details are correct, you will receive an email confirming your reservation and payment including a booking number (for payments made via PayPal, Credit /Debit cards). If you have paid by bank transfer, we will send you another email confirming the payment once we have the bank confirmation (note that bank transfers typically take between 1-2 days). If, for any reason, you have not received an email from us after booking, please check your *spam* folder or let us know as soon as possible.
You can pay with Paypal, Credit / Debit card, bank transfer or Multibanco (MB is available only to customers of Portuguese banks).
No. This is not necessary if you choose payment by credit or debit card.
Yes. Our online payment system encrypts your payment details to protect you from fraud and unauthorised transactions. PayPal processes card verification and is a globally recognized secure payment system.
Yes. If you need to make changes such as removing or adding someone to your booking, updating your pickup details or changing the date of the hike, contact us by phone or email as soon as possible. We will inform you of any overall payment adjustment and if so, it can be paid directly on the day of the hike.
Yes, you can make your booking by phone or email if you wish and pay in cash upon pickup. You can also pay online 50% of the overall price in the form of a deposit in order to secure your reservation and the remaining can be paid in cash upon pickup.
Yes. The final price indicated at the time of booking is inclusive of all taxes and charges. No additional fees will be charged and the only exception is when you are staying too far away from the city of Funchal, then we may have to add a surcharge of 15,00 € to cover pickup & drop-off expenses, please refer to our pickup plan for more details.
Yes, you can cancel by phone or e-mail at least 48 hours before the hike to get a refund. Please consult our Terms and Conditions for further details.
We take safety seriously and if there is a red alert issued by the local authorities due to adverse weather conditions, for your safety we may need to cancel, postpone or reschedule your hike. In any case, you will be given a different date or a complete refund.
