Venture out to explore some of the fantastic mountain trails that Madeira offers, discover and visit some of the most emblematic places that best identify the landscapes of the Pearl of the Atlantic.
Starting in the village of Porto Moniz, the trail crosses the idyllic scenery of the centuries-old trees of Fanal, the Paúl da Serra plateau and runs along part of the Levada do Norte and Folhadal. On the mountain designated as the Central Mountain Massif, we will have the opportunity to contemplate the magnificent landscapes of the north and south that extend across ridges and valleys, between Encumeada and the iconic peaks Ruivo and Areeiro, in what is considered one of the best PR trails in Europe. At the end, contemplate the ocean bathing the north coast at the cliffs of Boca do Risco, and finally, "flow" into this adventure in the picturesque village of Caniçal.
